Both MAXX and Nomad have gentle high pass filters on the inputs. Glenn has spoken about this before.

If you wanted separate Primary and Mirror card slots you should have bought a Nomad.

Courtney Goodin's BWF Widget Pro is probably the best all purpose WAV to MP3 converter out there. It will batch create MP3 files with timecode information...
